CEAM Establishes Endowment with the University of Maryland College Park

At its Spring 2005 Conference, CEAM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Maryland that established an endowed scholarship through the University of Maryland College Park Foundation to promote the field of civil engineering and encourage graduates to pursue a career involving Public Works at the local level. In June 2005, $200,000 was transferred to the Foundation to fund four scholarships in memory Roger H. Willard, George F. Neimeyer, John H. Marburger and Wilson T. Ballard,Jr.  

 

Current Scholarship Committee members are Dale Coppage, Mike Errico, Jim Montgomery, John Norris, Bob Olsen, Ronald Rye, Steven Walls and Stephen Young.
